Promises of the Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is filled with promises from the Lord. Most of these promises are extended through the Lord's prophets and servants, but many come through His own voice. These promises include blessings of comfort, peace, and truth pertaining to our temporal estate along with blessings of salvation, sanctification, and eternal life pertaining to our post-mortal potential. These promises are granted on familiar conditions including prayer, fasting, and studying the scriptures. Discovering these promises exposes priceless nuggets of revelation. Understanding these promises builds a foundation of hope, “which hope… maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God (Ether 12:4).” Trusting and living these promises is walking the path of salvation, leading the righteous disciple to Celestial Glory with Heavenly Father.
